Ford Interceptor - This is our standard patrol car. It is equipped with a Whelen strobe bar on the roof and corner strobes in the parking lamps. Inside is a Motorola two-way, NEMLEC programmed, radio and PA package, Panasonic Tough Book notebook computer and either a 12 ga Mossberg shotgun or Bushmaster 5.56mm patrol rifle. Each car is also equipped with both hard mounted and hand held RADAR units. The back seat is caged for prisoner transport. In the trunk is a complete medical kit and a defibrillator.
